Cathy Jones
Appointed on 16/07/2024
After completing my degree, I volunteered at Cannock Citizens Advice, undertaking training and supporting local people with their concerns. I then ran the Rugeley CAB for ten years, before moving to managing and extending the county alcohol and drug service.
Some years later, I then moved to ASIST, a County advocacy service, until very recently opting for early retirement.
I have always enjoyed supporting people and helping them to find access to positive solutions. Working alongside volunteers and paid staff within a team is an excellent way of doing this.
